Our Food Truck Season for summer 2018/19 has come to an end!
Thank you to everyone that joined our Lefty Food Truck Night this season. We hope you enjoyed the range of trucks that joined us every Wednesday from October 2018 to April 2019.
About the “Lefty Food Trucks”
In March 2016, we launched the first round of our Wednesday Night Special “Lefty Food Trucks”, which proved to be a great success.
Each week, different vendors were invited to sell their tasty wares in the car park, creating a multicultural blend of foods and flavours on Wednesday Nights. General Manager Peter Watts said this unique project was an initiative of The Left Bank, collaborating with local food truck owners. “We encourage customers to buy from the food trucks, then bring their meals into the venue. Customers were able to match their meals with drinks from the bar and enjoy comfortable, relaxed seating in the Beer Garden,” he explained.
“It’s one of the flew places where you can have a beer whilst eating food truck dishes! It’s great for a relaxed night with friends – a fun alternative to the traditional restaurant dining experience.” says regular Rodney D.
Adding to the great atmosphere, there is also live music from local acoustic artists in the Beer Garden. Complemented beautifully by spectacular sunsets and the gentle lapping of waves on the banks of the Swan, it creates a laid-back ambience.
The summer season of 2016/17 and 2017/18 were a great success and it was great to welcome such a vast variety of food trucks to The Left Bank.
If you have a Food Truck and would like to be involved in the future or have any enquiries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
